We first came across the term "apartment" in 2007 when we were planning our first visit to Mariánské Lázně. We decided to go from Peter by car, the three of us, and for three weeks, so we wanted to rent an apartment with kitchen, facilities and parking. In St. Petersburg we lived in a large comfortable apartment and even for the period of our vacation, we did not want to deny ourselves the usual comfort. Long enough searches on Russian sites did not work and we switched to the Czech search engine, which our friends told us. That's how we came across this wonderful name of the apartment. Actually, the apartment is Czech for "byt." But when this apartment is rented out for a short period of time, it magically turns into "apartmán". An apartment, in our opinion. That's how we learned that in Europe apartments are usually called rooms with one or more rooms for rent, which necessarily have a kitchen (or, at the worst, a kitchenette), bathroom, WC.
In the Czech Republic, and specifically in Mariánské Lázně, there are at least three types of apartments. The first one is the most comfortable and comfortable - it is a separate classic apartment with all amenities. It can be one room (kitchen and bedroom), two room (kitchen, bedroom and living room with sofa bed), three room, etc. The bathroom is usually one, but there are rare exceptions when there are two full bathrooms in a large apartment. Some apartments have balconies and even large terraces. There may even be working fireplaces.
The second type of apartment is "orphan". It's a so-called "garsonka". I.e. it is a studio apartment, consisting of one, as a rule, small room, where the living room, bedroom and kitchen are located. Such an apartment is usually not intended for a long stay in the resort and can only serve as a place for a short stop.
There is another type of apartment. This is something like an apartment, which is located in the owner's house, which lives and the owners themselves. In our opinion, this is not a very convenient option. For a short stay it is suitable, and with a long stay it is inconvenient because you can not quite get away from the slightly intrusive attention of the owners.
Our experience of staying in apartments allows us to draw the following conclusion. For us, the most convenient option for an apartment is a large, fully equipped apartment. It should be equipped as much as possible so that the guest does not have to carry extra belongings on the way and can travel light. That's why, when we moved to PMZ and the Czech Republic and started renting out our apartments, we decided that our apartments will have everything necessary for a full life and rest of our guests. The apartment should be large and comfortable. The minimum size of our apartments is 65 sq.m. The height of the ceilings is at least 3 meters. Spacious bedrooms, with large beds and quality orthopedic mattresses. Comfortable blankets, pillows, bed linen and towels. Large living room with large screen LED TV with satellite channels. Always with a double folding modern sofa, coffee table and chair. The kitchen must be fully equipped, in the maximum configuration: full stove with oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, detergents, sponges, napkins, etc.. Bathroom with shower or bathtub, washing machine, hair dryer, towel dryer is mandatory. In addition, the apartment must have a vacuum cleaner, ironing board, dryer for laundry.
This is how we have earned a review from our first guest in one of our apartments.

Few people today travel without a smartphone, tablet or laptop, so all our apartments have free high-speed internet access with Wi-Fi router.
For car travelers we can offer our own, or public, free parking.
We love it when our guests come with children. For our little guests we have everything ready. Baby cots, playpens, feeding chairs, prams, toys.
Accommodation in the apartment is almost round the clock. Our guests do not need to be afraid that if they arrive very late, we will not put them in. Everything happens on the road. We'll put them up even at night.
And, of course, we provide transfer services from all airports in the Czech Republic and Germany, from railway stations. Shuttle service from Mariánské Lázně railway station to the apartment and back is free of charge for our guests.
If necessary, we can advise our spa guests on any questions that may arise. We organize treatment and excursions. We will advise on restaurants, shopping, etc.

In Mariánské Lázně we offer sanatoriums, spa hotels, apartments, apartments and pensions for every taste and budget. Many travellers accustomed to the family atmosphere and on vacation will surely prefer an apartment or flat. Just for us and you were built by prudent Germans, first-class and today's cheap hotels, villas with apartments and pensions for every taste and budget. Their number and range just put even an experienced traveler at a dead end. Many travelers who are accustomed to a family environment, and on vacation, will probably prefer apartments. Rest and mineral water treatment if you live in apartments are very easy and relaxed. You probably already know that the Czech Republic is a very inexpensive country. At the same time, the food here is first class. You're not limited to anything when you rest in an apartment. There is no need to rush to breakfast and lunch, as you have a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave. You can buy everything you want in the numerous supermarkets Kaufland, Penny Market, Lidl, etc. and enjoy not only relaxation and treatment in Mariánské Lázně, but also first-class products. Apart from amazing beer, soft cheeses, dumplings, strudels, there are always fresh fruits and vegetables at funny prices for Russians. I'm not talking about Czech dairy products and sausages anymore. Excuse me. I got distracted. What were we talking about? About the apartment? Well... Apart from the kitchen joys, there's bound to be a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron, hair dryer. You don't have to take anything with you on the road.
